Balashikha Casting and Mechanical Plant (BLMZ) was founded in 1932, and now it is the leading Russian enterprise in the field of foundry production and mechanical treatment of products made of titan, magnesium and aluminum which are widely used in hi-tech branches of economy.

To achieve leadership in the field of aviation products and foundry technologies of the future.
Goals and objectives
Serial production of aviation wheels, brakes assembly units for brake systems for aeronautical engineering - planes and helicopters. Production of intricate shaped casting of titanic, magnesium and aluminum alloys.
Achievements
In 2007 Balashikha Casting and Mechanical Plant has celebrated its 75th anniversary. In 1976 the Enterprise collective was decorated with the order of the Labor Red Banner, in 1982 - order of the October Revolution.
Historical production diversification allows carrying out strategically balanced economic policy of the enterprise; its uniqueness consists in the fact that technological processes of casting alloys on the basis of all three types of “light" alloys have been developed and mastered here. Every coming year witnesses adoption of new nomenclature of shaped casting for defense, aerospace, chemical, oil refining and oil-producing industries, as well as for mechanical engineering.

Foundry production of JSC BLMZ corresponds to requirements of the Russian and international quality standards and tough aviation standards, provides requirements of domestic and foreign markets operating well-known Russian aircraft: Yak-40, Tu-134, Tu-154M, Òu-160, Il-62Ì, Il-76, Il-86, Su-25, An-124 etc.
